There Are SO Many Good Movies To See!

I recently got an email from a producer friend commenting about how many good movies are out now. There are. And when you add in all the platforms, there are even more. It’s kind of incredible.

The Act Of Killing, Fruitvale Station, Museum Hours, Computer Chess, Crystal Fairy, 20 Ft. From Stardom, Frances Ha, Blackfish, Crash Reel, World War Z.

And there are many more following them.

Short Term 12, Kill Team, A River Changes Course.

And many more I am sure. This is just a list off the top of my head, stimulated by the list my friend sent me.  And yes it is true that most of these films played at the San Francisco International Film Festival.  It is great that everyone can now see them.

It is a great time to be a lover of film.  It is great time to be a maker of film.  And even if only a few of those titles will turn a real profit, I think with the right long term plan, it can also be a great time to be a funder of films.  Seriously.
