Academy Award Winning Movie Trailer

Okay, it’s a minute too long, but maybe that’s because they want you to know it is important…

  • what's scary is that this is real:

the real loser is the film that gets homogenized with every other piece of crap because it has a formulaic trailer (not defending the blind side.)

If you fail to see the humor in this trailer then you're probably a talentless hack that viewed this film as an attempt to be something that it was not. More than likely it resembled the last film you made....that most people laughed at as they thought you were delivering a parody...when you were not...because you're such a serious auteur...who's more than likely first generation out of the trees.

    I liked it.
  • How to make a film with absolutely no talent: Do a parody of a film made by people with absolutely no talent.
  • Jon, Will I ever get to read you post anything positive? I myself have always been a fan of the noble failure. I would rather watch people reach than witness them walk a path that others take. Granted this trailer might over stay it's welcome, but then again so does the work that they parody.
  • Come on Ted. I have a lot of respect for you (21 Grams was awesome). But while I admit I'm mostly negative, you never are. Someone has to call this stuff out. You have to admit, parodies are a cheap trick. Compare this to something like Precious and tell me I'm wrong. Is it right for people to get money and recognition for this kind of crap while people with true talent and who put in the 99% persperation get jack?

I follow Jon Raymond where ever he goes.

moderately amusing but they seem high on their own cleverness. if that was, say, 90 seconds it would be great.
