Building A Truly Free Film Culture

Thanks to all the great response I got from my Keynote Speech at Film Independent last weekend, I’ve started this blog to try to lay out some of the work that can be done to build the Truly Free Film Culture that I ranted about.

I will also try to cover some of the issues that are effecting the emerging new paradigm.  Let me know if you want to help out.  You know where to find me.  You can certainly start by commenting to the upcoming posts and subscribing to this blog’s feed.  Stay tuned…

Thanx Ted for creating a use blog to all apsiring filmmakers. Recently, I fell upon a film distribution company, Nehst Studios, who emphasizes their unique ability to allow unknown filmmakers the chance to pitch their works to the company's executives. What do yout hink about this? I would like to submit a pitch through their webiste: www.pitchnehst.com but do you think this is legit? It sounds great becuase the company is also connected with Details Magazine. What do you think? Can you create a blog response so I can read it on your site?

This site could not have been built without the help and insight of Michael Morgenstern. My thanks go out to him.

Help save indie film and give this guy a job in web design or film!
